The holidays are here and the rewards of working with Promise House teens can scarcely be expressed in words. Bring your family, group of friends, or co-workers to host a holiday meal at our shelter. The rewards of working with Promise House teens can scarcely be expressed in words. Volunteers will witness firsthand the resilience of youth and learn that despite their situation, it is never too late for someone to assist them in turning their life around. You will discover that regardless of cultural, ethnic or economical differences, we are all the same in our need for patience, compassion, and kindness—three very powerful tools in transforming lives. Volunteers will also gain a deeper understanding of our services should they ever need to refer a teen from the community to one of our programs. The most important thing you can take away from this experience is the lasting sense of accomplishment knowing you have made an enormous difference in the lives of teens and in the community as a whole.
For all volunteer related inquires or to request more information, please e-mail our volunteer coordinator.
