The Promise House Professionals Bowl-a-Rama Extravaganza attracts philanthropic young professionals from diverse industries for an exciting evening of competition. The event offers bowlers an opportunity to reach the community, change lives and help homeless, runaway and at-risk teens. The tournament features three rousing games of bowling, fabulous prizes, fun contests, delicious food an exciting raffle and an awards ceremony.

Every dollar raised through the tournament directly supports Promise House as we endeavor to provide homeless, runaway and at-risk teens with the individualized support, skills, encouragement and hope to live a better life. Teen homelessness is a major problem in our community, with over 1,200 teens living on the streets of Dallas County on any given night. Without intervention, these struggling teens have little hope of breaking the cycle of poverty and chronic homelessness. Promise House is one of the only agencies in North Texas that focuses on serving this population. Since 1984, our nine programs have touched the lives of more than 60,000 young people, providing them with the resources they need to become healthy, stable and self-sufficient. Giving struggling young people the support they need now is important, because it minimizes the long-term costs to our community and ensures a more positive and promising future for us all.
